On October 17, 2019, the Research HUB YouTube channel has been approved into the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). Dr. Ziaul Haque Munim initiated the channel on March 13, 2016 with the aim to support young scholars in doing quality research. The Research HUB YouTube channel publish videos on research methods, publication strategies, academic writing, career tips and PhD tips. As of today (October 19, 2019), our channel has 110 publicly accessible videos. We aim to cross 200 videos within the next 1 year, that is, by October 2020.
For your information, if you specialize in any research methods, you can also contribute to Research HUB. Most researchers specialize in a few methods, thus, if you publish your videos on your personal YouTube channel, they may not reach a wider audience. Research HUB want to create a platform where students/ researchers/ people in general can find all research method support videos in one place. Thus, we invite all researchers to contribute to our YouTube. If you are interested to become a Research HUB member, please see our memberships policy and benefits page or write us at team@researchhub.org.
It was never the aim of Research HUB to be YPP but to support scholar worldwide. But we are glad to be approved into the YPP. In the upcoming years, our plan is to reinvest any generated revenue to grow Research HUB, and part of the revenue will be used to reward our contributors in forms of small gifts and tokens. We believe this will keep our contributors motivated to make new videos.
